When publix or most supermarkets reject they issue a "rejection notice" by email to the shipper. This indicates what claim was for poor quality, temp, shifted on truck etc. If the shipper hired then truck then they can and should send it to broker if asked, if publix contracted with broker then they will seeit. Talk should email you a copy, if they don't call the shipper and ask for a copy, tell them your broker refuses to send and you want to make sure they get paid by your insurance, most shippers will send it. Once you get this, you can more easily determine the reason for rejection and see if it is a claim on you.

You know the sad part of what you said is that you won't ever make that. The good news is we do it all the time and some other excellent contractors also do it! Because your mindset is so poor you will haul cheap freight the rest of your life, better yet you need to go work for someone else who knows how to make money! (responding to 700.00 is insane)

Davidlee Thanks this. -
We all have different needs but in general it takes $700 a day for a truck to be profitable, anything less and you won't have enough money for maintenance.
Polk Trucking Thanks this. -
Prime inc asked for $400 dollars a day for a refrigerated whole day of layover and they are one of the biggest and most respectable trucking companies out there.. Why would a broker ever use you of you are asking for more money then they are.. You small trucking companies are killing yourselves slowly and it's nobody but your own fault..

i pouched it? what does that even mean.. How do you get you $800 a day in layover? lol tell your broker your not going to deliver unless you get paid in full with your lay over included.. lol ###### thieves.

Before i started driving i worked as a reciever at a grocery store. Any rejected product should be sent back with the driver. If the store tells you to leave the product there, then they have accepted it and must pay for it.
