There’s no real way to fix that section that will hold. It needs to be replaced.

    pavrom and nikmirbre Thank this.

Can you replace just the section?

I’m not sure how that system works on a step back. But if you can open the front and push it towards the rear, make #### sure however that front section of tarp attaches to the main section is right before you push it off the top step. If it’s not, at a minimum you’re gonna drop one of those cars off the side and they’re a real son of a ##### to get back on the rail. Worst case Scenario you drop a car and it ripped your tarp at the same time.

Also, should I be looking for grease points anywhere on the system?

You should be able to. Each section of the tarp is replaceable, at least it is on all the systems I am familiar with. We have a whole line of quick draws that drivers have damaged waiting on tarp repairs. They are an awesome tool to use, they’re even better when someone else Is responsible for the maintenance.

I believe they use sealed rollers. The only real grease point on a quickdraws system is on the backside of the rollers, there’s a flush grease zerk.

Yeah, I finally figured out the front and undone I questioned whether I should've rolled the part behind the step before or after the very front, I done it in the wrong order and almost rolled that front part off the step!!
