I can DM some, since you don't have your own thread on the open forum.
You can save a ton of money if your CDL is Nevada so there's no state income tax withheld from your paycheck.
Are you in the LA area?

As a former fuel hauler -- I can attest that the fuel-hauling sector job market is almost as tight as elsewhere -- most everybody wants some previous fuel experience...& from somwhere else.

Gemini Motor Transport (Love's) -- in particular.....is usually one of the most competitive job scenes in the industry.

Your best bet to start out in fuel right now....is probably with Florida Rock & Tank (if they have a terminal near you....that's within say, a 30-35 minute drive).

They always seem to be hiring.

Suggestion: put on your application somewhere (like in an "additional notes/comments" section) that you would PREFER A NIGHT-SHIFT DUTY position.

Don't scoff; nite-shift brings A LOT of BIG advantages to a beginning fuel driver.

That could very well push you to the top half of the "hire" pile.

    Surprise, surprise.....

As I write this -- Indeed.com is showing a current opening for FR&T out of Brandon, FL.

Indeed is apparently having issues...I was unable to copy/paste the link successfully.

Anyway....you might apply on their website, as appropriate.

I guess it's for their Tampa terminal.
