My husband is trying to secure a New Holland Forage for the first time, no one is there..gone for the weekend. Is someone able to help him, maybe be willing to give him a call? He's not sure how to secure it.

    Thanks!

Just looked at some pictures and it looks to be plenty over 10k lbs. He'll need to do 4 point securement with chains and then more as necessary to cover the weight. I never hauled big equipment so that's the best I've got for you.

Have the hubby download this and study.

What the others said. Does he have any blocking? Is it loaded on the trailer? Does it run or all complete?

We are gonna need to know more to know what hes got going on.

Looks like a one hit wonder. Hopefully we don't see on the news tomorrow "new Holland tractor falls off truck killing family"

I don't see how you end up booking something that big without having the knowledge or resources on how to secure something like that.

It really needs to be required to be issued by all flatbed companies just like the green book and the haz mat books.

I couldn't MORE agree. The training is sparse, if ANY. I got ZERO. Should be a part of the CDL endorsements, to be honest!

I really think, and would like to see an open deck, flatbed or some type of designation that fits with in the catagory. As an endorsment on the CDL
