I follow this so closely, and I actually invest in many of these companies because why not we’re gonna have to make money somehow. And I am telling you all and I get a lot of pushback especially on this forum. We are all cooked. I invest in PLTR, The CEO, did a press conference the other day and said 80% of workers are going to be void within 20 years maximum. Probably even sooner than that. But he claims “life will be better for us all” not sure how that’s all gonna work out but life is about to get interesting. Accountants, dispatchers, they’ve already got AI technology that can run every single trucking companies dispatch nationwide from one entity. Think about that. The technology is already there. Dispatchers etc; will be chopped before we get it. But we will eventually hacked too.

Unfortunately, a lot of people are going to lose their jobs when automation takes over. I hear truckers talking about which aspects of the industry will remain "recession-proof" like they are actually one step ahead of the coming wave. There are several states refining laws to make provisions for AVs to operate the roadways. I'm just trying to save as much money as possible before then

I believe warehouse jobs yard jobs will go. But truck driving gonna take awhile. Those are controlled environments away from the public. Companies will get sued hardcore if a AI truck on the road screws up. Tesla cars screw up all the time. I know they have Waymo but it’s not a 80k vehicle with a trailer trying to navigate city traffic. Waymo cars screw up too. If a Rig screws up and glitches it’s a big mess.

Yes, but I’ll be on the verge of retirement by then. Why trying to pay everything off now instead of going in debt should be a priority.
