Hundreds of drivers reported spending the night on I-40 in Arizona.

With today's technology there's no reason to get yourself in that situation...

 

Right? I mean, the worst that happens is I look at the weather app and state DOT site and just groan for about a few hours until I just shut it down some place safe and dilly-dally.

I heard they nearly avoided being cannibalized by the stranded drivers.

 

"We’ve been here I40 WB Flagstaff since 8pm last night. Guys, this is irresponsible. I can’t imagine families with small children without food, water nor blankets in their cars. There should be a plan to redirect traffic and get them off the road when things like this happen. SMH"

I read this tweet from one of the drivers stuck.....all I can say is she needs to get over herself. I'm not going to always say I took every precaution in bad weather over the years because I have fouled up a time or two in bad weather, and was ill-prepared. Redirect all that traffic where? She sounds retarded.
