    At Southern AG?
Don't know the guys name, but his nephew was working there last year when I went and talked to them. The old man still had an office and came in for a couple of hours every now and then.

Another trucking company announces its closure today - FreightWaves

The above was said in the link, in 2013.
Southern Ag announces partnership with HCI

Personally, I'm glad you mentioned it, because I was recently considering SouAg. I had no idea they were in a partnership agreement with anyone.

A lot of experienced drivers I'm assuming.

    Where have they gone?

The reasons I opted out were 2:
    #1, they wanted a $5,000 escrow
#2, "sooooo.......how do you know what the load pays?"
"Well......sometimes it's this and sometimes it's that and sometimes we really don't know until we get the bill."
I swear to God on my life.

So, I said, "well, maybe some other time.".

I looked at HVH like 5 or 6 years ago, and just doing the math all the money they take back, it was just like a CRE deal.

Plus there hub was Denver. So that means you're gonna burn you're truck up on 70.

I thought no way. I think you'd have been lucky to make $600 or $700 week for driving you're nuts off.

Plus I'm pretty sure they had they huge balloon payment at the end of the lease, you were never gonna own the truck.

To me it makes no sense to have a carrier in a town than is one of the blackest freight black holes in the trucking universe. Freight goes into Denver but only pays fuel on the way out..... If you can get out without deadheading out.
