Howdy All,
End of May I'll be driving to a very remote camp ground in northern Nevada, I have never driven in this area before, 4,000-5,000 foot of elevation I am concerned about snow and ice on the road.
My rig is 72 feet long so I know some of the curves are going to be a challenge but I have driven worse roads, 190 going west out of Death Valley for one.
Anyway has anyone driven this road late in May, if I do hit snow with the narrow road and no turnouts are the grades something I should be concerned about? YES, I have chains but really don't want to chain up if its safe not to do so . Thanks for any information you can share.
Dave
