What comes with the business, a stapler and a fax machine?
Numb, Diesel Dave and Sons Hero Thank this. -
I haven’t ran for some time. So I’m selling the business/LLC with it’s authority.
-
Once it’s inactive it’s kind of worthless tbh.
It will be treated as a brand new authority when it gets activated. That said it’s less hassle to just get new numbers.Bfr38 Thanks this. -
Well it depends on what you consider “worthless”. I’m aware of the reset to zero. However, once the buyer gets to 6 months psychologically on the brokerage/Shipping and receiving side: a 1 million DOT number is considered as MORE COMPETENT than say a 4 million number
-
Actually from the broker side it's a red flag, even after 6 months. Inactive, ownership, address, phone, e-mail all changed.
-
I’m mid to low 3 million number. But I haul more than a guy with a 6 digit number starting usdot 200,000 range
-
Not true. When I started in 2017. UNDER THAT AUTHORITY once I hit 6 months, my phone rang off the hook. Up until that time: I kept my nose clean(safety), and offered great customer service. Heck I worked steady right through that mark. So I don’t know what you’re talking about.
-
Because it didn't show all those changes, which is a red flag to us. And 2017 didn't have the scammer problem of today
