I 290 closed in Chicago due to semi dangling between two overpasses

Praise the Lord @ the fact the "driver of the truck is safe", yet he was unable to drive safely. I'm guessing that he was either distracted or fatigued while driving too fast for conditions. He couldve also lost control while trying to avoid hitting a car darting by him...
Quite an embarrassing situation to be in when the accident makes the news. At least the news didn't disclose the identity of the driver nor the carrier's name. I consider I-290 to be I-294's more attractive/less argumentative sister... I would've #### a brick having to be delayed in that traffic

 

That stretch of 290 & 294 has been under construction for some time. It was only a matter of time before a white Volvo wrecked in that area.
Not quite in Chicago (Elmhurst actually) but pretty close.

 

We'll call it chicagoland home of the dangerous white volvos.

Either that or red Volvos with white hoods. Or all red or all green ones!
The lions share of them usually have Cummins engines,although the brand new ones are strictly all Volvo powered.
