Just for future reference I have a shop, tools, and everything including a fridge full of beer lol. I still do work on the side for friends and a two previous customers that don't want to take their trucks anywhere else and we're always good to me. It kinda sucks they have to work around my schedule now but they know I'm not just gonna do whatever I can to take their money.

Oh wow, right on.. I remember you mention 1000's of tools, but I didn't know you were all setup like that too. A good wrench is hard to find, & priceless in FL too..

Well I took off from Fort Myers yesterday went to Miami with a beautiful day unloaded one then reloaded one in Delray Beach.
I then drove up to fort pierce and spent the night in the storm there (not to bad just 40 mph wind and rain)
Got up this morning a little breezy and rain but not bad.
Went up to Sebastian loaded my last one and then headed north.
Got up to cocoa beach and caught the storm again.
I spent all day running in the storm with 30 to 45 mph winds and hard rain.
As I sit here now doing my break I am up in South Carolina with almost clear skies and dry roads.
At the end off the day running thru the storm was not fun.
But having the road all to just us brave souls (aka crazy people) with no traffic and two days FREE use of the Florida toll system was priceless.

I'm glad it worked out okay. I totally forgot about the free tolls. That probably saved you a ton! I normally don't think about them because I'm a company guy so it's their sunpass and E-ZPass in the truck.

Thanks for your advice and kind offer of food and water during this ordeal it’s much appreciated.
I’ll have to take you out to Bern’s in Tampa for a nice steak dinner when I get down this winter.
Well.... maybe not quite Bern’s lol
But it will be the best hamburger restaurant in town lol.

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Bern's is quite a joint. I remember the first time I went. Was 18, saved a few paychecks & took my girl out for a night on the town! We got all dressed up, the whole 9 yards. Did the kitchen tour, & did the upstairs dessert room too.

Funny part was, I just kept thinking to myself, "I bet this is what a fancy hor house looked like in the 1870's cowboy era.." LoL

    Great night out..

You left out the tour of the wine cellar lol
They recently with in the last few years or so found a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne down there that was misplaced for like fifty years I think they said.
    They valued it at $20,000.00
