Pepsi truck stalled out in the middle lane. Mail truck came up and hit it which resulted in a pileup. Accident occurred not too far from the Rockville Road overpass that was struck a few months back. One driver had to be extricated from what was left of the cab! A second crash occurred resulting in a fatality due to slowed traffic going past the first accident!
What a mess! I just drove through that area only hours before on my way from Topeka,KS to Elkton,Maryland!

You will like Elkton Maryland. Just be cautious on your maryland mileage. Delaware isnt too far from there, the border that is. There should still be a old Petro and a TA (Former 76) up there.

    RoadRooster and mjd4277 Thank this.

mail truck contractors are as guilty as anyone for speeding.

yes, the truck was stopped in the middle lane, broke down, but no attempt to move over to any shoulder.???

it happened at what, after 8 PM..???? i could see rush hour and vehicles everywhere, but at that time of night..???
