otherwise, the job of trucking (according the the labor statistics) will be brought down a notch or to from "professional" to "unskilled".......and ya'll take 5 steps backwards

 

well then, MORE sophisticated electronic nanny devices, for all the drivers, like incredibly LOUD buzzers or bells....that WILL BLARE OUT 3 miles or so from any hazard, INCLUDING, birds on the road, picking apart a dead animal....

and if no one has these devices installed..??

then IMMEDIATE CDL suspensions, and extremely high insurance spikes for 10 years.....and this is for ALL trucks on the road, no matter who or what the owner is....

Unfortunately I agree with you. It will be a horrible day when it arrives.

My plan is to escape to say Idaho where many days you are alone on the interstate on your way to work. If there is work to be going to at all. HA...

Crazy man, i was fixing to go down that interstate , wouldve been in that area about the same time that crash happend. Something told me stay on 70 and i ended up going down 57 instead!! Glad i made the right choice, crazy to think of the type of drivers that are driving next to us

Looks to me like white Volvo ran up the tankers ###. I could be wrong.

 

Looked like white delivery van hit red Volvo tanker. Or was pushed into by black truck. Accident #1. The root of the problem.

Don't know the timing of the remaining crashes, article doesn't say.

 

That's why I always, and I mean always slow down way ahead of stopped traffic.

Look in my mirrors, there's always idiots passing me well guess what you are going nowhere in 1/4 mile.
