I-80 1989 Tanker Crash between Rock Springs and Green River WY

    Does anyone remember the Tanker Crash in Green River Wyoming that tied up I-80 between Rock Springs and Green River all evening and night back in October 1989? I think that It was a Schneider Truck that rear ended a Tanker.

    Do You know what happened there, and what the circumstances were?

    I have heard so much about It at the time, but there were no news reports about It afterwards.

    I can remember a dream I had when I was TWO (yes, TWO) years old in 1962, but I can't recall what I had for breakfast yesterday.

    That would place 1989 just on the cusp of my memory...


    But it has piqued my interest...why the inquiry (if you care to share)?
