I damaged the load by over-tightening

    Kinfolk always said..... Sometimes when you go to far, you can't come back.

    Use this as a tool, a learning tool. I'm sure you have beat yourself up some but, we all are only human! You have gained some good experience for the future. Be safe out there.

    I started out hauling wood moldings. like the wood trim around door frames, windows, baseboards... It's fragile stuff so I got in the habit of looking up at the top corner of the load where the strap wants to chew/crush stuff when tightening securement.
