I ate too much but it was soooooo gooood!

 

Now that I'm parked in OKC I can share another cream cheese idea from the past that I remembered on the way up here.

First gotta make" "the mix". The mix is Italian seasoning and minced garlic with a bit of water added. Heat it in the micro wave for a few seconds to warm the water up. Cut up some sun dried tomatoes and add to the spice and seasonings mix. Put tomatoes and spices in a Mason type jar and add enough water to cover the tomatoes. Let the mix set in the fridge for a day or so.

Now take a spoon or more of that mix and blend it into cream cheese. Great on most any kind of bread and also stuffed in Celery stalks.

Alternate use (for the proper care and feeding of FM) Grab some thin cut steak (like Fajita meat) spread some mix (no cream cheese) on it then roll it up. Hold it in the roll shape with a toothpick. Then bake in the oven till done enough. A boneless chicken breast stuffed with the mix and baked is also great.

Last time I ventured into Cali, at the Quala wash in South Gate, they have a propane grill, which I promptly and properly used to make this
Pork chops marinated in Italian dressing and some rice.

 

Unfortunately I do not know many hunters, People are too dense (population wise and mentally) and the risk is too great. Mostly folks fish out this way.

May have to score some pheasant to try it with. I used to know a place that sold range raised game birds.
