chopper103in, Pullin2 and lots of character Thank this. -
here is a pic of the ceiling work thus far. (went a lot better than i had thought)
i used screening to hold the new plaster
i used "drywall disks" to support the surrounding plaster as well as the screening mesh.
i will most likely Sunday morning, power sand the walls to get them smooth, as they are ugly looking, like several attempts to add plaster patches over the years.
the plaster just behind that vent pipe is solid, just ugly looking, so i may just power sand that smooth.
Vilhiem, sshewins, chopper103in and 4 others Thank this. -
Hmmmm noon:30 I'm in Livingston taking a 30. Wonder if the Duo will get to I5 in front of or behind me....
Grapevine was clear sailing this morning. "Mudslides" were on the steep "truck 35MPH" stretch. North of CA138 and Fort Tejon.
Looks like mudflows on the East side and then the center median creek jumped the banks covered the southbound side.
They cleaned it up good. If I were not looking may have missed the evidence.sshewins, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and TruckDuo Thank this. -
Tonight is game 1
@Blu_Ogre, load was ready early. We're about 15 miles from our fuel stop in Dunnigan, CA. Deliver in Auburn, WA around 4am. Got no pre-plan.Last edited: Oct 17, 2015

Wife said she's having an intermittent and very random clunk sound in the front end of her car turning or braking.
Here's something you don't see every day.....
The rotor completely separated at the disk. Never seen that happen to one before.
All this talk of house repairs reminds me I've got a roof to do on a well house before winter at one of the houses. A whole roof from scratch trusses and all. Been putting it off during the warm weather but gotta get on it now that the weather is turning cool.
Planned on a 2 stop pick randleman and Claremont to baraboo to start the week.
@Cranky Yankee I'll be through Madison again on Tuesday if you're up that way.sshewins, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, TruckDuo and 1 other person Thank this. -
