I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

Stopped at that ugly Pilot in North Palm Springs for fuel... Had to park on the street cause all the fuel pumps were taken... and one wasn't working...
Left the truck with flashers on and walked to the pumps to see what was going on... One driver was having a lot of difficulty backing the truck in front of the pumps... so I helped him and he was thankfull...
Then, I went back to the truck and folks started moving again...
What a zoo that Pilot is...
Decided wasn't going to park there... no way...
Here is so much better...


They close at night... which is ok...

Unfortunately, truck to my left is doing some kind of reg... and the one to my right has windows open and is smoking... freaking smoke comes straight into my truck... and I am cooking with windows open...

 

Do you recognize this little truck stop? I have passed the desert... ahead of me there's a very known town...

 

Are you following me around? Just drove through there this morning after dropping off some cerveza in Blythe. Getting loaded at the WalMart cold storage in Colton now and will be heading up to Utah a little later tonight.

 

Crap - snow at elevation tonight and my new XDS drives haven't come in yet ! Curses !

 

No idea where will be going after Ontario... Could be anywhere in the USA... My second... or first dispatcher is back from vacation... So... I might get a broker load, or a donation load or an event load... who knows... I just hope to not go where the nasty snow and cold is....

Just helped poor Bino out of a jam. As you all know, coming down I5 and needing to get to 40 has been "complicated" by recent acts of God, lol.

 

I like taking the road less traveled sometimes.
