Even 600 today but not as far as I'd have liked to get. Was trying to make it down to the mom and pop in Jackson but Dayton traffic was stupid backed up when I came through and it put me 15 minutes short of making it down there.

Only gives me about 3:45 when I get back to the yard tomorrow so I won't get much to finish the week on out of there......or will and won't get in till late Saturday

 

Its long and fast... on a hot day brake fade can get ya. The last stage down Mt Vernon Canyon into Denver is deceptive, as it flattens out half way down, and the bottom half is steep with a dead mans curve at the bottom in Morrison.

 

You'd do fine cause you know how to use your Jakes and Noggin.

Take a light weight load. And one that will not pop going over. Aerosol cans, lettuce, and grapes are big no nos for going over. Pressured cans burst and the plant stuff, well the cells will burst wilting your produce.

Worst part in winter is the Ski bums with less of a clue than normal and STUPID chain requirements.

Summer can be a bit warm and the smell of burning RVs is not good.....
