About a year and a half ago, a USX husband and wife team doing Ceva dedicated picked up a pre-loaded trailer from R&L Carriers Chicago. Used their scale. All good so they roll. Had to enter the weigh station in Missouri and find out their 10,000lbs over.
    :biggrin_25521:

Felt sorry for them cause the wife was the one driving so she got the ticket. Told me it was around $1,000.

That's why an $1100 scale ticket makes for an interesting story. You are either extremely over gross or went over a weight restricted bridge

Last week I pulled into the new Pilot in Jasper, FL in the middle of the night. Cops were there. Looks like I showed up towards the end of something. Ask the employee and he tells me a TransAm driver was trying to back into a spot and he backed into a truck three times. Driver who's truck got hit, ran out and started a fist fight with the Trans Am driver. Cops arrested driver for starting it and gave TransAm a ticket.

The ####ed up part was that on the other side of I-75 was a mom and pop truckstop with plenty of parking. TransAm could of easily parked and none of this would of happened.

I'm sorry but if your truck gets hit three times you should be allowed to knock the driver out
