hey, were you guys happier when fuel was still 4.50 a gallon ? ..... if it wasn't for the folks that helped pressure the rest of the oil producing nations, the price would still be there. talking smack about oil patch workers is unpatriotic. period. are you gonna start talking smack about farmers next because the animals poop in the field ?
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

I'm literally minutes away from the Marcellus gas fields in PA, those scumbags have trashed everything they get near.....I've seen it up close and personal..Rocks, TruckDuo, Ssssnake and 1 other person Thank this. -
As appreciated as the work of the oil field crew is, they still have the same duty as everyone else, and that is to not leave trash laying around.
...If that is in fact what is going on.Tall Mike, TruckDuo and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -

Mike. I lived it. Up so close and personal it was at the end of my nose. Do you honestly think those folks are enjoying what they do to get the job done ? ...... I know you know different. Those people that have NO idea how the toilet paper hits the shelf and scream about those big old slow trucks in the way while they scream down the Interstate 10 miles so they can save a nickel on a soda at the Malwart just don't think the process through, do they ? I worked in the Patch for over a year. Not fun, but it got the job done. I can't stand the Military. But it's a " necessary evil ". Should I feel embarrassed or ashamed I spent 10 years in the Navy ? ........................................................ Probably not. Those jobs are like Trucking, not glamorous, but absolutely essential to civilization as we know it. So are a lot of other things. The major problem as I see it ( IMO ) is that the idiots in D.C. have let the " foundation jobs " wither away in pay, respect and gratitude and continue to, not just tolerate, but actively encourage the growth of non essential " jobs " to flourish. Law Makers make so many Exemptions to the HoS that it's like running 3 logbooks, except it's legal. And BTW Mike, I said "smack", not trash. In my book there's a small difference there. EDIT> I forgot to say that the D.C. Dummies have also sent vast amounts of " foundation jobs " overseas. I wish prosperity on all mankind but there has to be limits and balances to any system. I'm quitting now because it's too political.

And, to emphasis, you should feel no shame, only pride, in the 10 Navy Years. Like you said a job that just needs to be done. -
Rocks, Vilhiem, XCELERATIONRULES and 5 others Thank this.

Fuel surcharge is based on 6.5 mpg. If you get higher mpg than that the higher the fuel price the more profit for running a efficient truck
