Hey everyone, I have 9 years OTR EXP with my class A. I have hauld everything BUT cattle and cars. I have NO Felonies, NO DUI's.
What I do have is a family and kids!
The short version of my story... The last time I was in a truck, I owned my own 379 for a year hauling Hotoil (Asphalt Tanker) for Trojan Transport out of Austin, Tx., and Peanuts and Milo etc (Coverd wagons, hopper bottoms, live bottoms) for some farmers up in New Mexico. When the economy and deisel prices went bad, I got rid of my truck, and had the bright idea to go to automotive school to be a mechanic. BAD IDEA.
I have hauld reefer and dry van coast to coast and up in Canada, NEVER an accident. (Started that out with ole Dick Simon, and when they went under drover for Celadon for 2 years, got my fancy jacket and all)
There is more to my story, but im in a hurry to get this posted, and yes my driving history is bigger than this.
What im looking for - An OWNER OPERATOR to put me in one of his trucks makeing a good % of the loads, really dont like the CPM deal, I REALLY DO NOT want to drive for a big company. I dont wanna be connected to a QUALCOM and I dont want to deal with some dispatcher thats never ben in a truck telling me I cant go home for another week to see my kids. ALSO, and now im being picky, I would like to be in a PETE, but it dosent hafta be. Beggers cant be choosers...
Oh yea, im 39, and in #### good physical health, so FLATBED is fine, I enjoy getting out and doing something other than bouncing off the walls of my truck. (And I have 2 years exp with flatbed, oilfeild pipe and stone)
Ok, hope im not forgetting anything, if anyone has ANY ideas where I can find the job thats for me, please SEND ME A MESSAGE.
Thanks for reading, and look forward to hearing from EVERYONE!

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
I have 9 years exp, NEED A TRUCK!
