I have problem whith truck freightliner cascadia 2015

    Hello, I have engine knocking noise when I’m driving and lot of smoke coming from the exhaust. i did diagnostics and no errors any cods. mechanic suggests changing every fuel injectors, but there is no guarantee that this will solve the problem

    Get a new mechanic if he actually looked and didn’t know the cause ..both his suggestions are easy for a mechanic to test.knocking can lead to permanent damage or a hole in the block if driven too long..

    Is it making the same amount of power it has always made?

    White smoke in the exhaust usually means that air is getting into the fuel system, or coolant is leaking into the combustion chambers.

    Or that your DPF is about toast.
    Try doing a manual regen if you can

    Yes truck running normally but after 5-10 miles knocking noise coming and smoke
