Nope. Drivers are issued a Job Assignment for empty moves. Drivers accept Job Assignment. Dispatcher is supposed to dispatch Job Assignment. Most Drivers are not dispatched, so are unable to enter JA into the system. They are told to enter JA into the system using an unrelated load number, with information, and the manager would approve payment. Why not just dispatch the load like they are supposed to do? . I was not told that, so I sent the information by messages through the Onboard Computer. I recently found out that all those messages were ignored for at least the past year. It is intentional.

But why did it take you a year to figure it out? -
If you still need one, try Dr. Nick Oberheiden. He has a law firm, Oberheiden P.C., that serves clients throughout the U.S. They specialize in white-collar crimes.

I know normal jobs this would go to the labor board to fix fast, however, trucking companies more specifically being OTR are they protected under the same laws? I was told they won't which was why I was told reason companies don't have to pay you sit hours on end at a shipper or receiver and or they can pay you below minimum wage when you figure the hours and pay out. Lastly, I have found a lot lawyers don't like to represent drivers. We have any people who actually knows about the laws?

Sounds like you have more of an issue with the system process than anything else. Likely those messages you sent went to someone who doesn't know what your messages were about and deleted them and continued on with their day.
Your not following up with payroll or your supervisor in a reasonable time adds to the problem.
You will likely get paid eventually, but will have to likely talk to payroll and management to sort out the matter. Quite possibly you will have to show when and what work was performed but not compensated for.
I find it odd someone would not check each pay stub at the time of pay, note a discrepancy and deal with it then and there. Likely you would have been advised of the correct process to enter the information for the workatt that time and problem solved. -

I wish you luck in obtaining the monies owed.

Personally, there’s two steps I’d take:
1) move on
2) street justiceSirscrapntruckalot Thanks this. -
I like how they say you cursed the dude out. I can't blame you. Nothing riles up a driver more than ####ing with his pay or his hometime.
