Where do I go from here? I just spent 2 weeks in Indianapolis at C1 school. I was disqualified because I got a perscription from my VA doctor 6 months ago for sleeping pills I don't use. I have come back to Oxford, Ohio and changed my license back. I took the tests today and now have an Ohio Temp CDLA. I would like to get one or two more driving hours in before testing for my CDL, but I hate the idea of starting all over again. Does anybody have any idea how I can get some drive time?
Thanks
I need drive time

contact some of the local O\O in your area. they may take you on and train you to drive
provided you can demonstrate adequate driving skills enough to not damage the truck, as well as providing a job t start with.ET Trucker Thanks this. -
I dont know about your area but alot of schools offer refresher courses for a nominal fee

Thanks misterG. Is there any way to find O/O in my area without just driving around looking for trucks. I would love to ride with someone for a day, a week, a month.

No need to tell all. You can see how it messed you up. The Dot physical Doc only knows what you tell him. Now if you pass out or have seizures sometimes, yeah, you need to be honest. That would be dangerous. But, sleeping pills that you don't take, aren't a big deal.

Another thing to consider ET is possibly renting a 1ton and trailer that will meet the gross weight requirements. This was recomended to me by a tester in my area instead of renting a Big Rig and trying to do it with an unfamiliar vehicle.ET Trucker Thanks this. -
From what I read he wants to ride to pass a CDL test. He did not ask for a training co, just someone to get stick time to pass with.
