It appears I left my bar on the trailer can't find it anywhere.
Currently stopped in Texhoma for lunch, will be running down 54 west to Tucumcari, then running 40 all the way to California.
Anybody know where I can buy one along the way my Google searches didn't find much.? There is an outside chance that the chrome shop at Lisa's might have one.
I have my doubts a regular truck stop will have one.
I need some help here.

I know that NAPA carries winch bars for flatbeds.
Flat Earth Trucker and Tall Mike Thank this. -
The flatbed winch bars are a little too big to fit in the winches on a auto transport trailer. They need to be reduced a little by a grinder to make them fit. I think most Pilots and Loves have them for sale in the truck stops.

Call these people. They may have a retail customer on your route. In carhaul training they told us to never lay your bar on your rig, (it blends in with the aluminum ramps) but to lean it up against the rig. Most of the time I listen to the advice, but today I spent a couple minutes looking for my bar exactly where I laid it on the rig. Maybe one day I will learn.

The Giant used to carry them, but it's been 20 years since I've been in there.

This post is almost 2 weeks old but just for the record you can order them online and have it overnighted at a truck stop of your choice.
Or your destination.
Always carry a backup bar.
My tie down bar goes right next to my fire extinguisher and as soon as my foot hits the accelerator, my fingers Are down there feeling for my bar one more time just to be sure.
It was missing one time. I stopped the truck and got out and recovered it.
And you're not the 1st and you won't be the last.
Been there, done that!Tall Mike Thanks this.
