i paid my 2290 today

The $10 bucks is worth it for me......
1. I don't have a printer.
2. Haven't touched a stamp in probably over 5 years.
3. Can't stand the taste of envelope glue.
4. And I get it "Paid" receipt within minutes.....Done.

I’ve actually got a couple of spare trucks that usually get the mileage exemption ( class W).

I always just fill it out myself and send it in. I don’t understand why somebody would pay for a service to file it for them, unless you wait until the last minute and need it fast, but even then, all it has to be is postmarked by the deadline.

I’d be glad to fill out anybody’s 2290 for $10 per truck. I could do $1,000 worth a day easy.

 

I paid online, on the 31st ,which was a Saturday, Got a stamped approval, Mon.2nd was Labor Day. Just got a letter from IRS. Bill includes a fine for $2.75 plus an interest charge for $1.74. Total due according to them $554.49. I’ll call Monday. More BS from the Government.Plates due on the 30th. Think I’ll just go get it Monday also. It’s all gotten easier over the years. The Government sure seem to like taking your $$$ without having to deal with you. Everything’s online. It’s good in some ways. But bad, by not having acess in other ways.I see a trend here. I’ll be surprised if they answer the phone on Monday.Obviously, just a computer generated letter, as I should have grace period due to weekend and holiday.

 

I’ve got that same letter last two years in a row, I spend the hour on hold to find out all is ok and to disregard the letter.. I hate dealing with those nazis

 

paid mine before deadline on Express tax , the IRS took it out of my bank account,
sent a letter saying I did not pay yet with late fee and interest due

 

Aren't we glad there is government, yay!!! Taxation is theft

 

I just gotta 2nd letter, this time registered, Says I owe them 559.90. Going to sieze my property, to collect. On hold now, unbelievable!!!
