I Phone as a hot spot?

i use my iphone as a hot spot to connect both my laptop and wireless printer.im with att and they require a minimum of 5gb data plan i have 10.i cant do without it and it saves a lot of money since i haul a lot oversize and brokered load and need to print and send back a lot of paperwork.as stated before all you have to do is go to settings and turn on your personal hot spot.you will c the password that you can change,once on the laptop just look for the iphone network,enter your password and u r connected.

 

Some Carriers block the Hotspot function.
If you want it they will happily charge you more $/month.

 

That is why I have verizon grandfathered unlimited and an android phone running foxfi at the moment. Found this thread while reseaching iphone and tethering. Is there a foxfi type option if running a iphone. My android phone or blue parrot are causing me issues not sure which yet.

 

Same as I do the only thing I don't like is a phone call kills anything your doing....you can also add 2gb for $10 a month

 

That's one of the many reasons I use android and not Apple.
