Well today after nearly a month I started my WIA process. I've got all the paperwork filled out but wasn't able to attend Friday's interview class due to work schedule conflict. Had to do a personality and ability test, funny thing is I rated the highest for a lab tech position. Funnier part is I was a lab tech major but didn't do well in immunohematology. Blood Bank kicked my arse to say the least. The way the school is set up I would have to re-take every class in my major and I simply don't have the time for it especially considering it is a 2 year class schedule (I was in 3rd semester) and the pay frankly isn't great. I just loved being in a lab. Too much on my plate drew away my focus, and yes the instructer was a sociopath but blame ultimately lies with me and no other.
My third skill was of course truck driving and as I have said before I have been a driver all of my life. Just not the big rigs. So it is a part of me. 10 years no tickets and accident free driving in city for a living is pretty good I think. People ask why I don't wave, because I am driving.
Anyway the ball is rolling as it were and that's that.
I see the horizon.

Sounds like you are determined, which is good!
What have you been driving?

Small stuff, food delivery, taxi, some courier, a shuttle once, and did limo when needed years ago.

Also some farm work in my past as well, but that was years ago. Promised my newborn a better life in May, I intend to keep it.
