    Yeah that's a small stretch of road...LOL
Any better directions than that, or an address??

Sorry for the delay I have been doing some PETCO loads down in LA that has kept me very busy. The dock in Kenner was very entertaining. The address or the Fort Smith Service Center is 4301 S Zero Street and I will get some pics next time I am home.

You aren't kidding that dock is entertaining. What they need to do is put a couple more garbage bins in your way to make it a little more challenging. LOL Did you go to the store in New Orleans on Tbougagoogoo street or whatever it's called?

Ended up with 2300 miles last week. Started this week with an 848 mile run from Chattanooga to Greenwood IN, Chicago, Elgin and Macomb IL. Did my first two stops today and will finish it up tomorrow. I got one of the last spots at the Des Plaines service plaza so I am happy to be tucked in for the night. I am hoping they find something to keep me moving tomorrow after my final.

So last night I shut down for the night at exit 95 in I-65 in Indiana. I sent in a comdata request for fuel. CHI yard was gonna be about 30 miles out of route and I avoid it at all costs. I get a message back "Why can't you fuel at CHI?" Usually they are pretty good about letting you fuel at a truck stop if you don't abuse the privilege. I sent a message back saying, "I don't want to drive 30 plus miles for free and it's been a long day so I would appreciate being able to get 50 gallons so I can enjoy a shower in the morning." Pays to be honest, right? I get a message back, "We aren't in the business of handing out free showers. Fuel at CHI." I know who it HAD to be working at that moment. He is a fella I will not talk to on the phone at all anymore because he is a genuine PR*CK. The only person at Averitt in my year here who talks to drivers like they are just scum buckets. So this morning I send another fuel request to my fleet manager. He immediately sends a message, "Money on card. Have a good day. You were dealing with an idiot last night." I laughed my hind parts off. I love my FM. He knows that even when I get fuel stops at truck stops I usually bipass them if I can get to SVC to fuel. Anyway...it's nice to have a FM who gets it. Driving can be tough enough and little things like a shower to start the day can mean a bunch. At least to me they do.

Nah, my next stops were Lafayette and Lake Charles. The manager at the Kenner store said the longest amount of time it has taken a driver to dock was three hours!

I hate that our svc centers are so far off the beaten path. I rarely have to use them, but have been directed to them when I'm in the south. Out west, there are none, but I'll usually fuel at a Loves and then stop at a Pilot/flying j...Then I'm still out a shower. But, I usually try to find someone else getting one and just get a team shower off them.
