I started working for my company in March.

Bought my truck in September with the $15000 I saved since I started. Saved another 20 since than.

I have no wife ,gfs, kids or life.

 

Keep that up for another 5 years you will be in the right place to build a family business or just a family.

No company will let you use their MC and insurance or rent you one of their trailers without taking a cut . Why would they ?

Don't worry how many times a load is brokered, if a load pays an acceptable rate to a desired destination book it .

If the company wont do the billing or be involved with the money , are you going to factor ? Do you even know what that means ?

You wont drive in NY , Why ?

The cost of operating a power unit leased to a company vary but as a rule of thumb expect a minimum of 24000$ in repairs and maintenance
50k in fuel
6k for non trucking liability insurance
2k for plates
550 for heavy haul tax
500 for ifta if you smart
Plus truck payment
Divided by 12 and that is a very rough estimate.

The next part is my opinion.
None of it will matter tho because you worried about all the wrong #### and it sounds like you have been listening to the wrong kind of people ,failed owner ops #####ing in a trucker lounge about how its everyone else's fault they failed , Using terms like fleece and double brokered and saing I wont go to NY. You will fail and I'm telling you this to try to help you , but I'm sure it won't make a difference.
