I have a little magnetic box that has a spare key inside. I keep it inside the frame rail near the 5th wheel. I learned my lesson after locking myself out in Rock Springs, Wyoming in -17 weather. Yeah, it was nice and nippy outside. The snow was 6 inches deep inside the truck stop parking lot and many tractors had to be pulled out in the morning. I had to borrow a crowbar from the Flying J and break the passenger vent glass in order to get inside.
I was Locked out of truck.

Up until the new style keys came out 10 or so years ago Paccar keys were made by Briggs and Stratton. Which was the same key style GM used in the 50’s and 60’s.
