Never heard that in a tox screen and I have seen a lot of them done, load the rack, shove it into the machine and let it go.

Years ago Beam Brothers,the mail haulers observed every test....I thought it was odd myself.
AND they had to see it come out and into the cup....
I had stage fright for a minute but thought F-it! let her rip!
Some young collector kid was watching so I asked if he wanted to shake it too? Should have seen the look on his face!

 

Sounds like it was your company that said it was to be observed. I have taken drug test and never had to be observed. Just took my DOT medical and wasn't observed. We are in Houston, Tx.

 

Used to get observed all the time on my last deployment. One of the female Corpman observed my buddy when he got stage fright, he had the hots for her for months but couldn't work up the nerves to ask her out. Seems he let her get a little eye shot, 2 weeks later he was out on liberty with her
