He pulled me over for no reason other than to do a level 3 which I understand that's his right. HOWEVER on the side of a very busy interstate interchange?!?! its unsafe and plain stupid! but what really made me mad is he came up to my truck tells me to open door and he comes in and sits on the passengers seat breaking my constitutional rights! I've lately been watching a lot of videos about being stopped and I realized I can tell the cop to literally F off and say whatever I want he may get mad but he can't do anything. my question is next time if cop asks me to open door or put window down further can I just refuse? and if he gets an attitude ill get an attitude my truck is 100% all the time I don't care he can't fail me lol. But could he contact my company and tell them I was rude? could I get fired for this? and if I get fired can I sue someone for breaking the 1st amendment? I know I know im a bit crazy can't wait to get home and audit some cops
I was stopped by DOT other day in Ohio..... im curious

Good luck. Usually those videos on YouTube don't end well for those that are 'smarter' than the guy with the badge and the gun.
Please do record your next stop when you begin telling the cop he can't open your door and you won't open your window. And then share it for us all to see.Dave_in_AZ, Opus, ESAFO and 23 others Thank this. -

Keep on driving to a safer pull over location, I have done this and if they had an attitude about having a safer pull over spot then there is something wrong.

Yeah great idea, get into a pissing match with a DOT officer, he can make it a very expensive visit, or you can be cooperative and hopefully be on your way in a few minutes.
Perfect example, years ago I got pulled around back into the shed for a level 1. at the Frostburg scales in Maryland on 68. I’m like “yes sir,” “no sir” etc, they pull a hazmat tanker into the next bay, the driver gets all angry at the officers. “You sorry SOBs always have to mess with us drivers, blah, blah, blah.”
The officer inspecting me says” that guys going to have a long expensive visit.”Blue jeans, Opus, ncmickey and 23 others Thank this. -
