Why not enforce the no phone in hand with cars more that would be way more money for the law to have. And or raise the fine for car using phone while driving to $500 first offence unless you caused a wreck than it would be $1500 and 10 points on license. That would make every state have a boost in revenue.

Went there the other day. Barely used to brakes. On the other hand when I went thru it was freaking scolding hot and actually had to pull over tire sensors were showing tires were getting awefully hot from the long upgrade from Denver. Found that weird since I always check my tires and none of them were low on psi.

    It works in my truck.

Thankfully I work for a company that isn’t one of these obtuse moron outfits that disables that for whatever stupid reason.

I've not driven an auto truck since 2008. I've wondered how they've improved on them for mountain grades..

For the record I'm a maniac driving until it comes to mountain grades. Then I'm the dick that's doing ten under in the far right lane

I only drive as an aside anymore, so maybe I’m not there frequently enough to say anything definitively, but the eastbound side of I70 coming into Denver always seemed worse for it to me.
I’m one of the slowpokes on those grades. I have driving experience, but I’m a flatlander… I’m sure I could come down them faster than I do and stay in control, but I won’t let myself risk becoming complacent.

I think (?) I already mentioned it. The Volvo is sheer pleasure on mountain grades. Eaton transmission works. It's safe. But it ain't no Volvo. That's for sure.

    :laughing-guffaw:
My teacher in CDL school telling us what makes a good truck. The hood has to go straight out. It can't tilt down any. That's what makes a good truck. :laughing-guffaw:
I seriously gotta drive one of those 379's one day.

I mean I've driven my wife's SC 60 around Deadwood a month ago. Anything like that?
