1 year, and you're a master.>??
i think it's time you packed your bags and called it quits, there fella.
no one "masters" anything out there.
you "LEARN" each time.
the road you traveled yesterday will not be the same road tomorrow.

I’d rather be cautious than be over confident.Cattleman84, LoSt_AgAiN, MACK E-6 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Tooting one’s own horn has a funny way of being a harbinger of trouble.Cattleman84, Brettj3876, GlobalFM001 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Different people learn at different rates. It's ridiculous to assume that all truckers learn everything they need to know at the same times as we all come from different backgrounds. Trucking is a highly respectable career choice but it isn't exactly rocket science either. You can learn and master new things at an expedited rate if you practice a lot and dedicate time to researching certain aspects of trucking.
It's true, overconfidence and pride can inevitably result in disaster; that's why it's good to continue to fear things like winter/mountain driving. But not having any self-confidence whatsoever is equally deadly because if you don't trust your skills, you won't be able to execute the right decision at the right time.
Driver, do you possess the skills to safely navigate the mountains during inclement weather? Yes or No?Last edited: Nov 15, 2019
