I70 Eisenhower smoke fest

Not super steep, or very long. Just enough to kill you when you get careless.

 

If you’re burning your brakes on an interstate than please stay the hell out the smaller highways.

 

It is Homestake pass that is East of Butte where there is a ~5 mile segment that is 25mph for trucks.

I have seen cops waiting on that hill, just waiting for the truck doing 50+. Also trucks pulled over by those cops.
It is a pretty safe bet that some trucks will be flying down that hill, with some of them smoking the brakes at the bottom.
Kind of like Cabbage Hill or a few others I can think of, like going down into Lewiston, ID.

 

That was a secret, only the cool kids were supposed to know.
