My trainer was so fat they had to put the steering wheel part way on the dash to keep his fat ##### belly from doing the steering.

I had a truck in front of me at the scales one day 1000 over weight, driver got out told scalemaster he weighed 500 pounds and so does my partner, master says get him out of the sleeper, I want to see him, guy comes out in his underwear weighing at least 500 or more pounds, master says, get the hell out of here !

I don't care if it is in Brazil, Canada, Alaska, India, United States, Cuba, France, Australia, Africa, wherever. Driving on ice, in mud, up steep mountains, across a desert, wherever. No difference, it's all just about driving a #### old truck.:biggrin_25519:

No it's not all about driving the old truck..... You are not taking in consideration the traffic, the way people drive in some of these countries, and the horrible condition of those roads, and the rules they have there or lack thereof, and the conditions drivers endure... For one who is used to driving in the USA and has never driven in some of those countries, would not know how to drive and would get into an accident on the very first day, just like that guy, forgot his name in IRT driving in India.... got 2 accidents in one day...
Some American drivers are "spoiled" driving in the USA and totally clueless how crazy and absurd the traffic is in some other countries....:biggrin_25523:

Problem??? I don't see any problem... This job can be hard and very exciting... maybe yours is easy and boring... But with sooo many people from all walks of life trucking in so many different ways, it would not be too hard to find interesting stories to show on TV. Heck, my story as a rookie teaming with 7 people in 6 months would make a good one... :biggrin_2559:

I just wish the mule driver would lay off the energy drinks. Reminds me of the guy from American Trucker. Do they really think people drive around all day talking to themselves all loud and excited about everything.

Unless you've driven " in Brazil, Canada, Alaska, India, United States, Cuba, France, Australia, Africa, wherever" and driven "on ice, in mud, up steep mountains, across a desert, wherever" you have no basis for stating " No difference, it's all just about driving a #### old truck".

Yeah 700 miles of endless boredom. That is real. The crap they show on TV is slightly more scripted than Guiding Light.

Do you people really believe that crap is real? Probably thought Dallas was a Docudrama too huh?
