If I reactivate my DOT number, what does it show? New?

    My DOT number has been inactive several years. Does anyone know for sure if I reactivate it if it shows me as a new guy? I’ve asked a few people and always get different opinions.

    Yes you will be treated as a new entrant. With Hiway taking over the industry and making ignorant demands, it’s better just to lease onto a good carrier with contract freight. Good luck with it, if you decide to pull the trigger…..

    Ya idk. Sometimes I get the itch to do it again, but I’m fairly happy as a company driver now.
