If you retire, what is the first thing you would want to do??

    The first thing I did after retiring from my "cushy gummint job" was get a CDL and go OTR in a reefer.

    HA, skellr, that sign has been replaced many times. It's located on I-94 near Kenosha, Wis. It's really a neat area, and once was home to the Nash test track in the 50's. It's named after Major Richard I. Bong, the WW2 flying ace, that shot down at least 40 Japanese planes. He was from N. Wisconsin.

    years there used to be a sign on us 71 as ya entered arkansas from mo . announcing ark was home to hilly and billy clinton ....it was always shot full of holes lol .

    Since retiring on Jan 1st,I've done exactly what I always wanted to do.Look out the window at the record snowfall and say " Nah, I'm not leaving the house today "
