    It depends on the company.

Shouldn't. It's good for 1 year. Truck number is irrelevant, it has your vin# and make and model on it.

    It depends on the company.

    Some require it every quarterly.

Ok, bc I asked the TA and they said I needed a new one. My carrier said I was ok and didn't need a new one. Yes the Vin is the same. Just new carrier akd truck number. Also the TA that did the DOT inspection mistyped my vin number in on their inspection but it is obvious it is referring to my truck so I wanted to be sure b4 I spend 60 bucks on another dot.

If they never corrected the VIN, you might want to get that fixed. They should do it without charge. Otherwise you might get an ahole cop that will write a ticket for it....

That vin must be correct on the certificate...

If you bought new tires at loves then drove it across to the ta they'd tell you your tires are bad. Ta shouldn't be trusted to change a light bulb.

Ok. I wonder if they would fix it since they mistyped it in the first place. I can ask. But they probably say no. Or I go to the one I went to since it is near home but what a hassel.
