Except to a company where nothing but an extra dollar matters it does, doesn't make it right but that's the way it is anymore it seems. I don't see how anybody stays out for weeks or months at a time in a truck, as much as I like trucking I can barely sit for 10 hours somewhere, I'd go nuts sitting for 34.

Maybe I've just worked for hard-#####, but none of my previous boss's would have said "ok cool no problem" if a driver refused a load or started getting overly demanding. Regardless if you were there for a week, or 10 years. The way the OP is going about it, is a good way to get shown the door at many companies. There are things worth voicing your opinion over, but if you accepted the job in the first place, then you shouldn't be throwing a fit after the fact, at least in my eyes unless it's a blatant bs issues.

Kind of what I was thinking.

you know, YOU heard it before....

"drivers are a dime a dozen"...

cop an extreme attitude and, "don't let the door slam you in the butt, on your way out"....

Well yea. I mean like any truck while loaded I don’t average 75mph, but truck is governed at 80 (never drive over 76), so I’m doing the speed limit a lot while loaded and always while empty which is half the time

Too many drivers out there who roll over and take the nonsense. You guys allowed a 14 hour / 11 hour / 10 hour / 30 minute rule? You're getting your just desserts now. Grow a backbone.
