Anyone have it so far? I guess I will show my input how these electronic logs help me out. And the fact it is automatic transmission, anyone like it so far? I'd really appreciated it.

The new Volvos with. Autoshift are great. I wish I had one when I pulled beer from NC to NJ thru the VA mountains.

My prostar broke down and I was in one of our new volvo's with the AT. I have to say it worked really well. And was a pleasure to drive! Never thought they would work good with smoothbore tankers but it did a great job! The truck rode well and was super quiet inside.

You'll like the new automatic it's #### smart man. I had one rented while mine was down and here is my experience

    it is smart
it will out shift any super trucker
as you hook up to a load and you start driving it calculates the weight therefore it'll let you up shift to whatever gear it knows it's safe for manually. Or if you choose not to once you take off from the stop light it'll skip gears by its self and it's smooth

the only thing I didn't like was the way it shifts it feels like someone is sitting there and shifting for me while I hold the wheel. I prefer a standard but if I got a great deal on a truck and it happen to be the automatic I wouldn't think twice.

and last but not least try not putting your clutch foot through the firewall at first or try to rest your arm on the shifter hahah

No I don't. One of the OTR drivers out of Jersey has one and said he likes it better than the ten speed. Pulls heavy loads with no problem. He said you can barely feel it shift. Don't forget the Elogs will help you in the long run. The big thing at WKSH is speeding. They will be watching every driver. You are allowed 4 mph over the posted speed and then it will send a message to Safety that you are speeding once you go over 5mph for 1 minute. You will get a call or message about it. WKSH is very serious about this.
