I’m 6’3 and I drive a Peterbilt 389 and I feel cramped in that. Granted, my company has drop visors installed so I hafta be on the floor to see under that. They do make aftermarket seat mounts so you and/or a shop can mount the seat farther back, allowing more leg room. When sit-testing in your new possible purchase keep that in mind, and look to see that the seat can indeed be installed further back utilizing one of these mounts if need be. Happy hunting.

With a LEO in the right mood, you might get a laugh out of them for that, lol.

    Ultracab or Regular cab?

I'm only 5'9" but incredibly tall in the torso (I sit as tall as friends who are 6'2"-5") and had no issues with the Ultracab. Granted, I didn't have drop visors and tended to sit fairly high. Maybe look at getting a Bostrom low ride seat, they have a different air bag system that lets you sit lower without sacrificing air ride.

I’m 6’3 and fit decently in a t680. Only thing is I find my knee resting on the door handles making an obnoxious sound when I’m driving down. I’ll probably put something to get in the way but still be able to open the door.

I can tell you right now you dont want this style W9, there's not a heck of a lot of room in the cab and I'm only 6'2 and long torso not legs.

I'm 6'8" in 25 years of long the best fit for me is current ride. 2017 W900L w/Studio sleeper.
379/389 aren't bad, but the big K-Whopper wins out.
Be advised they are a heavy truck.

    Good luck,
    Mike

My company truck was a 2018 KW T680. The fridge plus converter were right behind driver's seat. Couldn't move the seat back very much. The setup of all amenities in the berth is something to consider.

I have a friend with a Pete 389. He made a custom mounting bracket for his seat that has it sitting very low and way back. I'm 6 foot and I could barely see the end of his hood and my feet could barely touch the pedals. He's a big ole boy though and it works fine for him. It has a sleeper though, I doubt in a day cab you could get the room without a fat boy kit on it.

I'm 6'5" or 6'6" depending on which convenience store I'm leaving.:D. I'm torso tall also. So leg room isn't my biggest issue. I just got out of a '17 389 with a flat top. Leg room was ok. I always had to sit on the floor because it was a car carrier. I don't think you'll have much issue in newer trucks. IMG_20181003_152231620.jpg
