I'm in love with the showers at the Pilot Truckstop in Chemult OR.

    Sincerely I am in love.

    I thought I was prepared for public restrooms and showers but I wasn't. Even armed with lysol spray, clorox wipes, flip flops, my own soaps & towels I still almost threw up the first time I had to shower in one.

    This brings me to Chemult, OR last night where at the new Pilot Truck Stop I fell in love. The showers are amazing! Clean! HUGE! Big walk in tiled showers with hot water that lasts forever, the tiles are CLEAN! The room is clean and you have a sink with vanity, a tiled seat in the room AND your own private potty. There's even a fan in case you need it. They provided CLEAN towels and little soaps. (I used my own)

    I watched the guy clean one of the shower rooms and then thanked him greatly for his hard work. He was so sweet about it.


    Pilot Truck Stop in Chemult OR, stop there and shower.

    Most all showers in the chain stops have a private potty, fan, tiles seat or reg
    seat, most have hot water.

    It's when you start going to some of the smaller truck stops is when the showers
    are not that nice. Now not all of them are like this.

    when you happen to get the "handicapped" shower, they are usually larger than the rest.
    i love o good HOT shower. nana, did you leave a tip for the guy?

    NO NO NO. I myself kinda feel obligated LOl when i find a really clean one or i see the attendant is busting butt. some showers are in such horrible shape they couldn't POSSIBLY clean them up enough.

    Tipping IMO is a Karma thing,what goes around will come back to ya.
    As a man I often have change in my pocket,when changing I just throw the change on the vanity instead of putting it in my pocket.
    Often its more then $1.00.

    same here, except i have more than occasionally, seen some VERY LAZY maintenance folks at the T/S they don't get a penny LOL

    If you ever stop to shower at a Pilot off exit 28 on I-71 in KY there are 2
    Pilots . Go to the one on the west side (with McD's ) . They have recently remodeled showers . I went to the one on the east side once because it has a dairy bar next to it . Instead of a chair the shower had a barstool and no lid on the toilet seat .
