Most companies have policies about dropped trailers and most companies require that you stay hooked up when loaded unless you are in their yard or at the receivers yard. You should have known what the policy was for dropped loaded and empty trailers. So 2 ways to go about this when applying for another job: You can stay quiet about it or be up front about it. I recommend you fill out applications at 3 carriers you would like to work for and be up front about it. Somebody will hire you. Team drivers are a valuable asset to a carrier who depends on teams. I bet money Covenant will take you if you're up front and honest. 10 years ago Martin Transport was one of the better team oriented companys to work for, I dont know about now. Schneider has a farely good rep but I think Martin is more Team oriented.
