Just a bit of advice, learn how to read a speedometer and read it often.

You should ignore what others are doing, you are the responsible person in that truck, so act responsible.

Yeah that’s what it sounds like with the phone call I had with them this morning, they have to check my license and see if I got anything else recently but this is my first big ticket ever so I should be fine. They did tell me to keep trucking so let me keep these rubber hot

Nothing you can do about it. Welcome to having endured blitz week when the police were supposedly pulling over all speeders. Unfortunately for you, you became his victim for the pull over.

Nope now it is an "Oh Well" moment. If this is your only infraction and you have driven for them for a while? They will tell you not to do it again.

Now you know and if your a good driver? It wont happen again. Remember, your the driver, not the traffic. Your the one supposedly driving, not the idiots around you breaking the sound barrier.

Did the inspection report specifically list the speeding in the "Violations" section? As in the specific law/code number and the description of the violation? If so, then the company will get points and the violation will be on your PSP. However if it is not listed under "Violations", but just mentioned as the reason for the inspection, it will not hit the CSA/PSP. That is not to say the company isn't going to raise H, but it's still better than having that on your PSP.

The speeding will be written on inspection as the reason ... As others have said you can't fight a warning and the driver/company will get dinged.

Always take a ticket ... You can go to court and get it reduced. That's why they hand out warnings. The cop has less paperwork, will never have to show in court and he knows he screwed you.

This is what you are going to do. You are going to turn that inspection report into your carrier's safety dept IF you have not already done this! Then you are going to stop worrying about it. IF the safety dept deems it important they will call you in for a powwow! You got an inspection report with violations. You DID NOT receive a citation that effects your DMV and it should not land in the DAC. This is NOT something that will affect the yearly review. I would, however, suggest you watch those signs. There are literally thousands of roadways that look like they have 55+ MPH speed limits that are actually less than 40 MPH!
