I'm really tired of this, Ready to go on my own

    They allowed me to choose the amount of the escrow or if I even wanted one for maintenance. I'm considered an owner operator so they don't make me do anything. I chose to set it up to take 200 per pay out until I reached $5000, and of course I'll have extra set away in a savings account to accrue interest.

    I know a few other people that work there and I haven't heard anything negative about this company yet.

    Rather than having the company take the money out, you could put it in a money market account yourself every settlement period. At least you would earn a little interest on the money. Some carriers who do these maintenance accounts won't return the money if you don't complete your lease. If you open an account with a bank such as Transportation Alliance Bank, it would be easy to access the money and make deposits while you are on the road, should you need it.
