    I'm starting orientation 3/25/2013 with JB Hunt. Can anyone tell me what happens after the 4 day orientation? Are you assigned your tractor and first dispatch on the last day? I live in Chicago so the reason I'm asking is because I wanted to know if I should bring my supplies for my truck on the last day.

    congrats, if your a solo and not a student yes bring stuff with you. If you get cleared you will be in your truck on the fifth day. Good Luck

    Guess he decided to work smart.

    I've never worked for JB Hunt, but I do know they have some logistics divisions & dedicated accounts that pay really well. I'm always on he prowl to keep an informed backup plan in place.

    Jb is going to more logistics and dedicated. That is the way to go and they take care of the drivers as long as the drivers take care of them.

    if you are going to be regional or otr dispatched out of Arkansas they will give you a truck there most likely if you are going dedicated you will probably have to go back ride with a trainer a couple of times and then the account will assign you one of their trucks .
