Im getting close to giving the dry van and load board a break. Its a m-f home daily waste haul in my area. I don't have any experience with the waste haul though. Any and all advice is appreciated.

regular garbage or Haz Mat waste? The waste haulers usually have to drive out on the landfill, causing holes in fuel tanks, flat tires etc. What kind of trailers, a walking floor or a tipper?

Because you are driving over literal trash. Lots of sharp objects and debris causing damage to tires especially, but also anything on the underside of your rig.

I think tires are a concern, but trucks go in and out of landfills all the time. They don't go where the dozers go, I've taken Mack dump trucks places I'd never go otherwise but a bigger concern for me, would be what you are hauling. Some nasty stuff goes to landfills, medical waste, radioactive, bad strawberries, it's the last stop in the chain of goods from our society. I suppose if it paid well enough, but there are so many other non-hazardous ways to make a decent living with a truck today. Haul mail, or get on with a grocer,,but landfills are the rectum of our society and I'd stay clear. Not sure who that would attract..
